GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) — Downtown Green Bay Inc. is asking artists to submit designs for large light bulb cutouts that will be displayed at CityDeck this winter as part of a program called Brilliant Bulbs.
Jenny Vandenlangenberg, with Downtown Green Bay Inc., said the display will begin Nov. 21. This is the second year for the project.
“This winter, beginning on November 21st, which is the day of the holiday parade, we will be kicking off all of our winter activities here downtown,” Vandenlangenberg said. “And one of the things we are looking for right now are artists to help us with a program we call Brilliant Bulbs.”
What the bulbs are
Vandenlangenberg said the bulbs are large light bulb cutouts that need artists to paint them.
“We are looking for artists to help paint them and just make some beautiful works that will be part of a outdoor gallery, really, that will be shown all winter long here on the CityDeck.”…
