Record flooding prompts emergency response across northeast Wisconsin

SUAMICO, Wis. (WBAY) – Record flooding across northeast Wisconsin has multiple communities scrambling.

On Wednesday evening, Gov. Tony Evers declared a state of emergency for the severe weather, mobilizing various emergency response agencies to help affected communities.

Across the state, the tornado drills for 2026 have been canceled due to the severe weather. They will not be rescheduled, according to Wisconsin Emergency Management.
