APPLETON, Wis. (WBAY) – People in Appleton took time out ahead of Memorial Day to honor those who died serving the country at two area cemeteries that held services.
The two events took place at Moses Montefiore Cemetery and at St. Mary Cemetery. The services included a prayer, the laying of a memorial wreath, a rifle salute and the playing of “Taps.”
