Woman to spend 12-16 years in prison after 2023 Winston-Salem shooting

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (WGHP) — A woman will serve several years in prison after a 2023 shooting, according to a news release from the Forsyth County District Attorney’s Office.

Lasonya Renee Jones, 55, was convicted on counts of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
