Dangerous heat continues across central North Carolina, with a Heat Advisory in effect Saturday as feels-like temperatures climb into the triple digits.
According to the National Weather Service, heat index values could reach around 100 to 106 degrees, increasing the risk of heat-related illness
Hot Saturday, storms possible
It will be slightly less hot than Friday, but still oppressive, with feels-like temperatures topping 100 degrees across much of the Triangle and surrounding areas.
A few isolated storms are possible later today, mainly south of the Triangle.
