Danny’s Cafe is preparing to relocate from downtown Burlington to a larger home at 2461 S. Church Street. Co-owner Tyler Lackey confirmed to WhatNow Charlotte that the family-owned business is currently targeting an August 1 opening at the new location.
The restaurant currently operates at 110 W. Front Street. According to the Triad Business Journal, the move will bring the restaurant, catering operation, and event services together in a 7,000-square-foot building formerly occupied by Michelle’s Kitchen & Table.
Founded in 2004 by Danny and Sherry Morton, Danny’s Cafe expanded in 2007 with the acquisition of Huey’s Catering, according to the Triad Business Journal.
