BURLINGTON, N.C. (WGHP) — A former worship director in the Piedmont Triad has been sentenced after pleading guilty to sex crimes.
According to court documents, Matthew Henry Laparra, of Burlington, entered a guilty plea on Monday after being arrested in April 2025.
