BURLINGTON, N.C. — Burlington police are warning drivers about the so-called “Kia Challenge” popping back up. It’s a social media trend that has been linked to vehicle thefts all over the country.
According to the Burlington Police Department, offenders in the area are once again targeting certain Kia and Hyundai vehicles that are vulnerable to theft because they cannot receive the manufacturers’ anti-theft software update.
