HIGH POINT, N.C. (WGHP) — Police have arrested and charged a man months after a shooting left a 22-year-old dead.
According to the High Point Police Department, Cory Smarr-Hunter, 21, of High Point, has been charged with first degree murder, assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury with intent to kill, felony conspiracy, first-degree burglary, discharging a firearm into an occupied dwelling, possession of a stolen firearm and possession of a firearm by a felon in connection with the death of Jeremiah Dallas and shooting of a second victim.
Smarr-Hunter was already in custody in Guilford County for unrelated counts of possession of a stolen firearm and possession of a firearm by a felon when he was charged…
