GREENSBORO, N.C. (WGHP) — A popular Greensboro park is slated to get a massive facelift thanks to a community collaboration with the help of an investment group.
Fisher Park has several exciting improvements scheduled in the coming months that will enhance the look and functionality of the outdoor sanctuary.

The project enhancements are thanks to a public and private partnership between the Greensboro Parks and Recreation Department and the nonprofit organization The Contemporary Foundation.
The groups joined forces to make major improvements, including enhanced entryways and new landscaping. There are also plans for the installation of sculptures, construction of elevated gathering spaces and new furnishings that support the historic elements within the park.
