GREENSBORO, N.C. (WGHP) — Friends of Mark Freedman are still feeling the devastating pain of loss as they continue to search for answers in his unsolved case.
Doug Frain holds fond memories of his 30-year-long friendship with Mark.
“We asked if he would cook us lunch for our anniversary about a month before he died, and he made a little nice lunch for us right outside of his porch,” Frain said. “We got to enjoy him for like five hours, and who knew about a month later we would lose him so tragically?”
Mark was the chef and owner of his restaurant, Mark’s Restaurant. His business was located on Dolly Madison Road. He was shot and killed outside of his restaurant on the night of Nov. 3, 2020…
