(WGHP) — Sunny skies stick around this evening with temperatures quickly falling into the low 60s by 8 p.m. Clear skies and a high-pressure system parked over the area mean we’ll see a chilly start to the day Wednesday. It will likely be our coldest start this week.
Morning lows will be in the mid 40s with mainly sunny skies. Afternoon highs reach the mid 70s with plenty of sunshine and blue skies. Temperatures will continue to climb into the second half of the work week. Morning lows on Thursday will be in the low 50s with afternoon highs reaching the low 80s. Friday brings morning lows in the mid 50s with highs in the upper 70s.
A mix of sun and clouds will return by Friday, and cloud cover will increase into the weekend. Following the cloud cover, rain chances look to return this weekend and could be the product of a stalled front and the remnants of a tropical system…
