EDEN, N.C. (WGHP) — One of the four people who died in a crash in Eden was 30-year-old Matthew Lockwood.
His best friend, Robert Russell, said they grew up together in Forsyth County. Both men became Eagle Scouts and went on several camping trips. Russell said Lockwood was a man of strong faith who would light up any room he walked into.
“He was the type of person that if you had 20 people that were on a camping trip, everybody would argue about who would camp with Matty … He was the person to be around. You didn’t just leave feeling better. You never felt ill ever. You would just always felt fulfilled with him,” Russell said…
