Two earthquakes reported around one hour apart in North Carolina

RANDOLPH COUNTY, N.C. (FOX Carolina) — The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) reported two earthquakes in North Carolina around one hour apart.

Officials said Friday that a magnitude 1.6 earthquake was reported 7.3 kilometers northwest of Randleman and 11.3 kilometers southeast of Archdale at 8:27 a.m. Friday.
