SUMMERFIELD, N.C. (WGHP) — Guilford County deputies will not be pursuing criminal charges against two former Town of Summerfield employees who were accused last year of wrongdoing.
Former Town Manager Scott Whitaker and Former Finance Officer Dee Hall were accused of misconduct, and after reviewing an internal investigation performed by the Town of Summerfield, the Guilford County Sheriff’s Office has chosen not to investigate further or bring charges.
