HIGH POINT, N.C. (WGHP) — First Baptist Church served the High Point community as a place of worship for more than a century.
The church celebrated 200 years of serving the community in September 2025.

High Point city leaders purchased the building in 2023. The church leases the space from the city to continue worshipping as they search for a new home.
