Burlington police dog helps arrest suspects accused of stealing catalytic converters

BURLINGTON, N.C. — Two men are facing charges after Burlington police say they were caught trying to steal catalytic converters from a local business early Tuesday morning. Police say their police dog, K9 Dax, helped in the arrest.

Police say officers responded to Ken’s Cars shortly after midnight after 911 callers reported suspicious activity.

Callers told dispatchers they saw flashlights and heard what sounded like electrical sawing coming from the property…
