GREENSBORO, N.C. (WGHP) — A single mother of four is focused on rebuilding after losing all of her belongings in a home fire one week ago.
Dua’a Ghazi returned home after a 12-hour shift as a Guilford County detention officer on May 4. She said she was spending time with her youngest children and watching TV when they noticed the temperature rising in her home.
“The fire comes from the bottom, going to my bathroom,” Ghazi said. “Ate all the bathroom, the roof, went to my bedroom, and that’s when we started heading outside.”
