REIDSVILLE, N.C. — A meat company that’s been a staple across kitchens in North Carolina has paused production.
Due to a listeria outbreak and the death of its owner Thomas Neese Jr. in April, the Neese’s Country Sausage plant in Greensboro has stopped making its products. Neese’s supplied tons of sausage, bacon and other meat products to grocers and markets all over.
A market owner is trying to fill the void…
