(WGHP) — Plenty of sunshine and comfortable temperatures continue across the Piedmont Triad this evening. Temperatures fall into the low 70s by 8 p.m., and skies remain clear overnight.
We’ll start Saturday with morning lows in the low 50s, but into the afternoon, the heat makes its return. Sunny skies and afternoon highs reaching the mid 80s with a little bit of a southwest breeze. Gusts up to 30 mph. Fire danger will be very high Saturday with the gusty winds, low humidity and dry weather.
High pressure settles in for the rest of the weekend into the start of next week, keeping us dry and allowing temperatures to heat up. Sunday brings partly cloudy skies and morning lows in the low 60s. Afternoon highs reach the upper 80s and a few of us may even reach the low 90s…
