PIEDMONT TRIAD, N.C. (WGHP) — Hot, sunny and dry — that’s the main weather pattern that continues into the first half of the work week. Sunday evening temperatures will fall through the 80s, with the 70s making an appearance after 8 p.m. Skies will be mostly clear overnight and temperatures will fall into the mid-60s by Monday morning.
Our summer preview continues on Monday with temperatures heating up quickly into the afternoon with highs in the low 90s. Tuesday will be an almost copy-and-paste day with mostly sunny skies, morning lows in the mid-60s and highs reaching the low 90s.
High pressure is the reason for our hot and dry weather, but we’ll start to see changes for the second half of the week and Memorial Day weekend. Wednesday morning starts in the upper 60s and afternoon highs reach the low 90s for our last summer-like day before the pattern changes…
