ALAMANCE COUNTY, N.C. — Alamance County Manager Heidi York recommended a 2.25-cent increase to property taxes at Monday’s commissioner’s meeting.
The increase would generate approximately $6.2 million in new revenue, funds which York said are sorely needed.
