Dark Corner Classic Car Show Returns

LANDRUM—North Trade Avenue came alive again on Saturday, May 30, as car enthusiasts gathered for the much-anticipated Dark Corner Classic Car Show, which ran from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event featured a dazzling display of over 300 classic and custom vehicles, drawing thousands of visitors to downtown.

As the event began, it wasn’t long before the street was filled with an impressive array of vintage cars and trucks. The highlight of the event was the awarding of trophies, including the coveted Best of Show title, which this year went to Larry McGrath of Landrum for his stunning 1971 Plymouth Cuda. The beautifully restored muscle car garnered admiration from both judges and spectators alike, standing as a testament to McGrath’s passion for automotive history.
