Peabo Bryson, Greenville native and Grammy Award winning singer, has died

Peabo Bryson, a Greenville native and Grammy Award-winning singer best known for his songs “Beauty and the Beast” and “A Whole New World,” has died at age 75.

The popular R&B singer died on Tuesday, June 2, in Marietta, Ga., according to the New York Times.
