SPARTANBURG COUNTY, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – The Duncan Police Department reported that a Spartanburg District Five elementary student has been charged after bringing a BB gun onto a high school campus on Thursday.
Police said that the child was attending a summer program at Byrnes Freshman Campus. Administrators and the school resource officer were notified that the student had brought a firearm to the summer program in his book bag.
