ANDERSON COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) – The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division arrested two convenience store employees under charges of lottery fraud in Anderson County.
25-year-old Eric Thomas Brown Jr. and 37-year-old Kayla Marie madden were both charged with conspiracy to defraud the South Carolina Education Lottery. Brown Jr. was also charged with intent to defraud and counterfeit game tickets.
Officials said both Brown Jr. and Madden were employees at the Stop-A-Minit located on Abbeville Highway in Anderson County. According to arrest warrants, both worked together to pass off a number of South Carolina Education Lottery tickets without paying…
