‘It’s fight for your life or lose it’: Active shooter training held in Anderson Co.

ANDERSON COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) — Some community members received practical guidance Thursday during an active shooter response training hosted by Anderson County deputies.

The training comes weeks after a shooting at Haywood Mall in Greenville, which officials said served as a reminder that active shooter incidents can happen anywhere.

“You fight how you train,” Sheriff Chad McBride told 7NEWS. “So, we want to train our citizens the very best that we can give them as much information that we have to prepare them.”…
