Billy Bob Thornton was inducted into the South Carolina Entertainment & Music Hall of Fame following his performance with The Boxmasters on Monday, July 27, at the Pickens County Performing Arts Center in Liberty.
The event, which was sold out, featured a series of celebrations honoring both Thornton and other notable contributors to the state’s entertainment industry, according to a community announcement.
“We love South Carolina; we’ve played here a lot of times over the years,” Thornton said before the show. “South Carolina has such a great history of all types of music but especially rock. We were always huge fans of The Marshall Tucker Band.”…
