Greenville Woman Gets Time Served In 2022 Fatal Shooting Case

A fatal Greenville County shooting that began with a murder charge has ended with a guilty plea and a sentence of time served nearly four years after 24-year-old Curtavious Smith was shot in the backyard of a Clemson Avenue home.

Ivy Robinson pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter on June 17 in Greenville County, according to court records cited by WSPA 7News. Robinson, who was 24 at the time of the plea, was sentenced to time served.

What Deputies Said Happened On Clemson Avenue

Deputies responded around 4:30 p.m. on October 20, 2022, to a home on Clemson Avenue near Alice Street and found Smith suffering from a gunshot wound in the backyard.
