GREENVILLE, S.C. (WSPA) – Investigators with the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office have made an arrest in connection with a shooting that left eight people shot on June 7, 2026.
On July 31st, members of the GCSO Fugitive Apprehension Specialized Investigations Team, along with the Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office, arrested 22-year-old Va’Deljima Roy Smoot with one count of attempted murder, seven counts of Assault & Battery 1st degree, and two counts of possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime.
