GREENVILLE, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – A deep, partial lunar eclipse is scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 27. This means that it will NOT be a total eclipse, but very close! The moon will be covered by the earth’s shadow by 96 percent.
This will begin Thursday night at 9:23 p.m., and will be at maximum peak at 12:14 a.m. It will begin to lessen after that, ending by 1:15 a.m. Friday morning.
