“Chickens Come Home To Roost” for suspects in police chase

The Chickens came home to roost for two suspects following a chase with Upstate deputies, Monday morning. The pursuit started around 9AM near Gray Court in Laurens County and carried over into Greenville County and the chase was then terminated.

Hours later the Laurens County Sheriff’s Office spotted the vehicle which had been spray painted in attempt to disguise the car. Another chase then ensued when Deputies tried to stop the car. Deputies were able to get the vehicle stopped on 385 northbound.

Once they made the stop, deputies arrested the two suspects Joshua Harvey and Rosie Smith. They also recovered four chickens, a dog and a cat from inside the vehicle.

Both Harvey and Smith face a long list of charges from the chase. Smith also is charged with ill-treatment of animals.
