Novant Health continued its expansion in the Upstate with the recent acquisition of nearly 295,000 square feet of office space adjacent to Interstate 85, near CU-ICAR in Greenville.
According to Colliers’ first quarter office report for the Greenville-Spartanburg market, the transaction was a sale/leaseback for $44.8 million for the 17-acre campus previously owned by TD Bank at 200 Carolina Point Parkway.
TD Bank US is leasing back one of the buildings included in the sale, according to a statement from the bank on the transaction. The move will allow the bank to continue supporting its more than 2,000 employees in the Greenville market and follows a strategic analysis of the bank’s evolving real estate needs.
