Students at Furman University gathered together on April 12 to paint a memorial tribute in honor of the school’s unofficial mascot: a special dog named Riley Knox.
A rainbow bridge stretches between buildings A and F of North Village in remembrance of the half golden retriever, half Bassett Hound, whose paws walked the campus’s grounds over a decade alongside her owners, Dave and Kathy Knox.
It is said that Riley walked around the university “nearly every day,” bringing a smile to many faces…
