GREENVILLE, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – A girls high school soccer team will honor an Eastside High School graduate who was killed on her way back to college this weekend. Tammy Zywicki’s murder has made headlines for more than three decades and her killer has never been caught.
Tammy Zywicki’s name has been part of a decades-long mystery. At Eastside High School, it’s also part of a legacy every time the girls soccer team steps onto the field.
“She really was a groundbreaker back then, kind of founding the girls soccer team at Eastside, back when girls didn’t necessarily play soccer. And just to see the girls play in her honor… that’s just what it’s all about,” Dean Zywicki, Tammy’s brother, said…
