SPARTANBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) – More than 70,000 Spartanburg County residents have been asked to participate in a test to help government officials prepare for the 2030 national census.
Earlier this year the United States Census Bureau announced it would conduct tests in parts of Spartanburg County and Huntsville, Alabama to trial innovations planned for the 2030 Census process.
The bureau said results from the test period will determine what new processes work and where it can improve ahead of the 2030 Census.
The test area for Spartanburg County stretches from an area north of S.C. Highway 11 in Fingerville down to the Pauline area. The area also encompasses the Pacolet, Roebuck, Cowpens and Inman areas of Spartanburg County…
