GREENVILLE, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – A former officer with the Greenville City Fire Department was arrested on Tuesday, according to jail records.
Jail records show Matthew Joseph Fay is facing the following charges:
- Accessory before the fact of a felony
- Criminal sexual conduct with a minor third degree
- (5 counts) Criminal sexual conduct with a minor first degree
- Accessory before/after the fact of a felony
- Criminal solicitation of a minor
- Incest
The City of Greenville said Fay served as a training officer with the fire department from January to May 2026. He is no longer employed by the department.
Jail records show Fay was arrested by the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office. He is awaiting a bond hearing…
