PICKENS COUNTY, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – The South Carolina Department of Transportation said that it will soon close a bridge in Pickens County for replacement work.
Officials announced that the Hester Store Road bridge (S-39-250) over Machine Creek would be closed starting Thursday, May 26. Weather dependent, the closure is scheduled to be completed by summer 2027.
