HACC board agrees to sell, lease several buildings to try to fill budget hole

In a unanimous decision, the HACC board of trustees voted Tuesday to authorize the sale or lease of several of the college’s buildings across four campuses in four counties.

The buildings on the list:

  • Ted Lick and Hall Tech buildings on the Wildwood campus in Harrisburg.
  • HACC’s midtown Harrisburg building.
  • The main building in Lancaster.
  • The Cytec and Goodling buildings in York
  • The main building in Gettysburg.

The building decision was one of several cost-cutting measures the board approved, including resolutions to modify the 2026-27 budget and cut $9 million in spending.
