Lancaster County Drug Task Force goes undercover, recovers over $81K in drugs from home

LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) — A man in Lancaster County is facing charges after officials said they confiscated over $80,000 in drugs from his home.

The Lancaster County District Attorney’s Office said the drug task force made controlled purchases of fentanyl by undercover officers at the home of 50-year-old Francisco Mercado between February and June.

On June 25, police searched the home and two vehicles, which are located in the 700 block of Manor Street, and recovered large amounts of narcotics, cash, and two handguns…
