CUMBERLAND COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) — Police are looking for a man accused of trying to lure a child into his vehicle earlier this year at a local CVS pharmacy.
A warrant was issued for the arrest of Ali Jibril, 25, on a felony charge of luring a child into a motor vehicle after the incident in March in Mechanicsburg Borough, Cumberland County, according to police. He is believed to be in Texas.
Perry County man allegedly stalked victim for 12 miles
Mechanicsburg Police said a 12-year-old girl told officers on March 12 about the incident that occurred a few days earlier at the CVS along E. Simpson Street.
She said a man, who was later identified as Jibril, walked up to her, told her multiple times that he didn’t care how old she was, and tried to get her into his vehicle, according to court documents. He also allegedly asked her where she goes to school so he could pick her up and drop her off…
