The Pennsylvania Superior Court has denied the conviction and sentence appeal of Kimberly Maurer, who was found guilty in 2022 for her role in the torture and death of 12-year-old Max Schollenberger.
Attorney General Dave Sunday announced on June 22 that the state court denied Maurer’s Post-Conviction Relief Act, or PCRA. Maurer was found guilty of multiple charges, including first degree homicide, in March 2022 for her part in the torture and death of Shollenberger.
