Lebanon city braces for crowds as Big Boy locomotive makes stop July 7

Lebanon City organizations are making plans as high expectations are felt for the world’s largest steam locomotive’s whistle stop at the Lebanon 8th St. Station on July 7.

City officials are planning to host an event for The Big Boy No. 4014’s arrival into the city, according to Lebanon Mayor Sherry Capello. Lebanon will be one of more than 50 stops across eight cities for the steam train, which includes three public displays and nine whistle stops in Pennsylvania.
