Several local organizations are combining efforts to provide Lebanon County students with school supplies for the coming academic year.
United Way of Lebanon County, Making a Difference of Lebanon, and the Lebanon Valley Family YMCA are hosting Stuff the Bus, a collaborative school supply drive, through July 17. According to press materials, the primary needs include book bags, calculators, crayons and colored pencils, pencils and pens, notebooks, and folders.
“Having the right supplies does far more than simply fill backpacks,” the release says. “It builds confidence, encourages classroom participation, and gives children a positive start to the academic year.”…
