WEATHER WARN DAY | THUNDERSTORM RISK:
A line of showers and thunderstorms will sweep across the region this afternoon and this evening. Some will be capable of producing very heavy downpours that could lead to areas of flash flooding, especially in flood prone and low lying areas. Travel could also be difficult die to ponding on area roadways. The National Weather Service has issued a *Flood Watch* that goes into effect at Noon today.
