DAUPHIN COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) — Finding a parking spot in downtown Harrisburg can be frustrating enough that some avoid the city’s restaurants and businesses altogether.
As revitalization efforts continue, some business owners said a specific type of parking sign is already helping bring customers through the door.
The signs designate free, limited 15-minute parking spaces. The Wake and Bake Cafe across from the Capitol had one installed after a year in business, and co-founder Elle Daniels said it has made a noticeable difference. “The 15-minute parking sign has helped us immensely our sales have risen quite a bit since we put that sign up,” Daniels said…
