HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – Friday marks three years since Harrisburg’s historic Broad Street Market burned after an electrical fire.
The brick building on North 3rd Street sustained severe damage after a fan caught fire in the ceiling in the early morning hours. The building dated back to the mid-1800s and hosted dozens of local vendors.
State and city leaders pledged to rebuild the brick building, but three years later, the project remains incomplete, with plans to reopen in the spring of 2027.
