Authorities are investigating the cause of a barn fire that occurred on Friday (July 10) in Halifax Township, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania. The fire broke out on the 400 block of Ridge Road, requiring a significant response from local fire departments.
According to the Halifax Fire Department, the barn was fully engulfed in flames when crews arrived shortly after 2 p.m. Over 80 emergency personnel from 16 fire departments were involved in the response. Firefighters had to bring in more than 50 tanker loads of water due to the rural location of the fire.
