Harrisburg residents voice frustrations during council meeting after ICE incident

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) — After an ICE-related incident in Harrisburg earlier this month, residents in the city are demanding action.

Tuesday night’s city council meeting was filled with public comment from concerned residents who are all looking for answers

An ICE agent discharged his weapon in Harrisburg on July 1, and the agency says the suspect, allegedly, “Weaponized his car and rammed an ICE law enforcement vehicle” before fleeing in the wrong direction and crashing into a civilian vehicle. That suspect is Clemente Lara-Hernandez, who the agency says is in the country illegally and has a violent criminal record…
