York County District Attorney sues to remove York City Councilman over 2012 felony

YORK, Pa. (WHTM) — York County’s district attorney filed a lawsuit this week to remove a York City councilman, citing the councilman’s 2012 felony conviction.

District Attorney Tim Barker (R) filed a “quo warranto action” Monday against first-term Councilman Ryan Supler (D), saying previous felony convictions make Supler ineligible to hold elected office.
